The question at the end of your article didn't feel rhetorical to me. It genuinely made me pause and think about how my own perspective has changed over the years.
One of those changes is how I think about rushing.
For a long time, I believed that life was forcing me to rush. Looking back, I see that I was often choosing it myself, even though it constantly left me feeling stressed.
Another realization is that not every valuable moment has to look "productive." I used to measure a good day by how many tasks I could check off. Now I increasingly believe that some of the most meaningful moments are the ones when we stop, do seemingly nothing, and simply allow ourselves to be fully present.
Thank you for asking a question that didn't just invite an answer, but genuine reflection. It's rare to read something that makes me revisit my own beliefs rather than simply agree with someone else's.
#3: great conversations… allowing time to breathe is great, but I don’t think it’s the biggest differentiator between meh and wow conversations. Asking great questions is the key. That’s how we level-up.
Loving all these Sahil. But especially 3. 4 and 7. 💪
but silence is soo boringgg
But the outcome of the silence is not. 🙏
I stopped believing that climbing the corporate ladder was the only way to build a meaningful career.
15 years ago, I quit and built my own coaching business from scratch.
My only regret? Not changing my mind 5 years earlier.
