One Quote:
“Make it simple, but significant.” - Don Draper
Yes, he was a fictional character (with a broken moral compass), but this quote is powerful. Take this advice. In any endeavor - writing, product design, marketing, etc. - make it simple, but make it significant.
One Tweet:
I’ve never met Tim Urban (Tim, let’s fix that!), but I am a huge fan of his writing and content. He opened up an amazing thread with this prompt. I encourage you to take a few minutes and flip through the responses - there is some incredible stuff!
This was a fascinating response:
One Article
Your CAC Doesn’t Matter - Forerunner Ventures
This was a great piece from Jason Bornstein at Forerunner that made the rounds on consumer twitter over the last few days. It’s a pretty quick read (~10 minutes), but makes a comprehensive case for why loyalty will be much more important than customer acquisition cost (“CAC”) for consumer businesses in the years ahead.

One Podcast:
Howard Marks - Embracing the Psychology of Investing
I’ve been an avid reader of Howard Marks’ memos since I started working in investing. He has an incredible ability to simplify complex topics and cut through the noise. If you are new to his teachings, this podcast was a fantastic primer. Worth a listen!
Listen to it on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
One Bonus:
