Special Announcement: The Audience Building Course is back!
We're running our 3rd cohort of the Audience Building Course in January. It's a live cohort-based course designed to help you build a high-leverage audience. Results from prior cohorts speak for themselves—hundreds of thousands of new followers and subscribers and countless new monetization opportunities created.
The course will take place from January 18-21. I’ll share all my frameworks and tactics that helped me grow my Twitter audience from 0 to 425K+ in 18 months and my newsletter from 0 to 50K+ in 6 months.
Only 35 spots remaining—you can grab your seat before we fill up here.
Today at a Glance:

Bonus: Focusing on the green lines.
One Quote:
“The Universe is under no obligation to make sense to you.” — Neil deGrasse Tyson
It’s up to you to make sense of the world around you.
It’s up to you to create maps to navigate the overwhelming unknown.
That is true power—it’s all up to you.
One Tweet:
Consistency vs. Intensity is an ongoing struggle in life. James is right—the vast majority of people are able to produce short bursts of energy, but very few are able to replicate that energy day in, day out.
My take: the goal should be consistent intensity. Strive to be able to produce short bursts of energy every single day. The lion works in short bursts, but does so at least once a day. Consistent intensity.

The Tim Ferriss Show: Ann Miura-Ko — The Path from Shyness to World-Class Debater and Investor
This is a repost of an episode I hadn’t heard from 2018—I’m glad they shared it again. Brilliant, introspective, vulnerable, and so much more. Really enjoyed the insights on stepping out of your comfort zone and embracing your full self.
Well worth your time on your next walk or drive!

One Bonus:
The brilliant Tim Urban first posted this image in mid-2021 and it has stuck with me ever since. I’ve shared it several times, but it feels like a fitting image to share to start a new year.
The lesson: Stop focusing on the black lines behind you and start focusing on all of the green lines before you. The future is bright.
