I was recently working on a side project and needed a developer, but I knew the process of finding, vetting, and hiring one was going to be an expensive headache.
Lemon.io fixes this—it makes hiring remote developer talent as easy as ordering a meal on DoorDash. Tell them about your project and they match you with an affordable, vetted developer in Eastern Europe within 48 hours. It’s as simple as that.
Lemon.io is offering a special 15% discount for the first 4 weeks of work for all Curiosity Chronicle subscribers. Sign up at the link below to take advantage of the offer!

“Progress is impossible without change; and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.” — George Bernard Shaw
The ability to change your mind is a superpower.
Adopt an open mindset. Embrace being wrong.

Jarrid shares his inspiring story of going from growing up on welfare to being a millionaire before the age of 30. He’s one of the co-founders of Harlem Capital, a venture fund focused on investing in diverse founders.
This one hits hard. Keep an eye on Jarrid—he’s going to accomplish incredible things.
One Article:
Forget pay cuts. Tech companies are imposing raise caps on workers who move away.
Among the many second-order effects of the pandemic, the rise of the remote workforce and the creation of the concept of “geo-neutral compensation” has to be up there as one of the most interesting.
Tech companies are really struggling with how to handle employees relocating from high cost hubs (SF, NYC) to lower cost locales (Austin, Boise, etc.). Many planned to do immediate cuts—cost of living adjustments—but in a tight labor environment (especially for engineering talent), that becomes a bit of a non-starter.
I imagine there are a few startup ideas in productizing remote workforce pay tracking and adjustments. If you’re building this, my email and DMs are open!

Imposters: How Twitch Co-Founder Justin Kan Got Sober
It’s so easy to look at external markers of success and assume that everything is great under the surface. We assume that a successful founder worth millions has it all figured out. The goal of Imposters is to get underneath the surface—to uncover the true struggles we all face.
This was the debut episode and it did not disappoint. Packs a hard punch in a short 30 minute podcast. Well worth your time.

One Bonus:
This is one of my favorite new frameworks that I’ve discovered.
The BS Asymmetry Principle: the energy required to refuse nonsense is significantly higher than the energy required to create nonsense.
Remember this the next time you find yourself faced with a pointless internet argument with a stranger…
