No wonder so many successful people tell you to surround yourself with people who are better than you: it's because it works.

My biggest takeaway is that this can go both ways. As you said, a good leader needs to have faith in his followers and vice-versa. If they believe in each other, the entire group will grow as one.

It also reminds me of a popular saying in psychology: "We become what we think about." Turns out that has a bigger impact than people think.
