@sahil That Sam Altman article you mentioned is just so over the top. It a very small yet highly cohesive summary of 7-8 books that I've read so far on self improvement. Is there any book or podcast episode that you want me to tune into to "Feeling less lethargic in the morning" and winning the morning?
I've heard a lot of 'Win the Morning to Win the Day' but somehow I keep getting back on my phone no matter how hard I resist. I tried James Clear but couldn't get myself to build a habit for saying no to phone in the morning.
I've never managed to avoid my phone in the AM. I've also never managed to go no phone in the bedroom. Pick and choose your battles that seem worth it.
This edition of my UAE Real Estate newsletter takes you straight into the heart of Downtown Dubai, where every square foot holds stories of glamour, innovation, and profit potential. More than just an address, it’s a thriving hub for investors who think beyond the ordinary.
We’ve crunched the numbers, examined the trends, and uncovered why Downtown Dubai isn’t just a place to live: it’s a place to grow wealth.
Curious how it fits into your investment strategy? Let’s find out together.
The concept of the Cobra Effect is such a valuable lesson in thinking critically about incentives and their unintended consequences. This article provides an important perspective on how we define success and how our actions can sometimes backfire. Great read!
Sahil—this one nailed it. The Cobra Effect is such a powerful lens. I’ve seen entire teams wreck performance chasing the wrong metric. It’s not bad people—it’s bad incentives, like Munger said.
The bear market breakdown was gold too. Feels like we’re in the thick of Stage 2 right now. The urge to hunker down is real, but the idea of “buying when others are forced sellers” hits hard—not just financially, but creatively and professionally too.
Also, shoutout to Sam Altman’s “Compound Yourself.” That idea has stuck with me for years. I’m realizing it’s less about tactics and more about stacking energy, systems, and curiosity until they snowball.
Appreciate your work—this newsletter keeps me sharp.

Have you tried meditation first thing in the morning before picking up your phone?
I've tried but was never able to continue it as a habit. Even after reading Atomic Habits.
Thank you for this. The post on ‘how to be successful’ is very good
“Play games you are uniquely well-suited to win.” 🙌🏾

Strategy without inner architecture is just ambition waiting to collapse.
We talk about incentives, growth hacks, and compound games... but few talk about the self that has to scale alongside it all.
If your nervous system isn’t built for the momentum you’re chasing, even success becomes a form of suffering.
Before the flywheel spins - ask what part of you it's grinding down.
