thought this was awesome Sahil - sent to my brothers and parents, just signed up for the newsletter. loved positive sum mentality, greatest moments of growth coming from failure, and delaying gratification
I absolutely love this post. “Adopt a positive sum mentality” is such an important one. When you realize other people’s successes are independent from yours, it helps you create healthier, more genuine, and stronger relationships with those around you.
I wish these concepts were applied and ingrained in the educational systems we grow up in because they encourage habits and mentalities that we need to un-learn when we grow up.
I finally got around to reading this (been sitting in my starred inbox folder forever - you know you're late to the party when even my DAD linked your Twitter thread before I got to it) — it was worth every moment of my time.
These principles are so beautifully distilled. Thanks for what you do!
A great example of operating in "Your Zone of Genius" where skill and passion align can be found in the people who created some of Apple Inc's most impactful products, and the bands that changed and influenced whole genres of music, like Nirvana did: https://moviewise.substack.com/p/reaching-nirvana
Really Liked this approach ! It was short and sweet and most importantly appealing and simple to understand ( Visuals ) hope you do this more !! BTW highlighted many and time to embody it now.
