I knew Morris Chang when we were both TI employees, and later I had the privilege of meeting with him and others at TSMC, where we spoke about ethics and belief. My impression, shared by many others at TI, is that Dr. Chang is a man whose faith informs his work. His insistence on high ethical standards and caring even for small customers wasn't mainly driven by speculation that some might someday grow large... it was driven by the principles and beliefs inspired by his faith.
Chang begged America to manufacture chips and we shipped jobs to Asia. Biden was there. Americans must spell patriotic and bring all manufacturing back to North America fast asap.
