Another way to learn is by watching movies, but obviously that takes a whole lot of time. But you can find movies worth watching by using moviewise, a searchable database of one sentence movie summaries: https://moviewise.wordpress.com
Everyone fails at very first step. We need to unlearn our old way to directly go and research. Rather write what you know because you can't produce a gem out of no where, you need atleast know something about it.
