Good stuff! I have used a lot of these techniques when I have done public speaking and they definitely help! I do sort of disagree with when you said to not tell people you are nervous. I feel like In some cases being real with the audience about how you are feeling can make people in the audience loosen up and be more receptive. Of course depending on the event/talk you are giving it might not be the vibe you want to give off. However, I think it it is useful tool to use when you are first starting out because it can make you as the public speaker relax. If the audience already knows you are nervous then (at least to me) it takes the pressure off of any mistake you might make because instead of being viewed as unprepared it’s viewed as nervousness. And relieving that pressure is what allows you to feel more comfortable and thus make less mistakes. just some thoughts! I wouldn’t do this if you are a seasoned public speaker but for beginners I don’t think it’s a bad technique to utilize.
Avoid upspeak at all costs.

> Slow Down to 0.75x
Imagine if I am an ultra-fast talker (ala Ben Shapiro's stereotype), what is the best speed to pursue public speaking?
Great tips. Thanks Sahil!
